6 weeks ago we had only sold about 40% of the tickets for WordCamp Las Vegas and we were really starting to question how successful the event was going to be. Well, we knew that we had an awesome lineup of speakers, we just weren’t sure we’d have many people sitting in the seats to hear ‘em speak. Then, a funny thing happened. A block of tickets got sold. Then another. And another.

On November 23rd we had 45 tickets available. A week later, we were sold out!

Since selling out we’ve had multiple requests every single day for tickets. We currently have a waiting list and we want to do everything in our power to make WordCamp available to everybody who wants to go. However, we have a bit of an issue. We physically do not have the space to release any more tickets. There are larger rooms at UNLV, but unfortunately they are already booked for the day. So unless you can find somebody with a ticket who doesn’t plan to attend, as much as it pains us to say it, you are out of luck. However, all is not lost. We will be recording every session on both tracks and we’ll get them posted to WordPress.tv as quickly as we can.

If you are in Las Vegas, be sure to join the Las Vegas WordPress Meetup Group, or join the discussion over at wpvegas.com

See you all next Saturday!
